Attended school in Cheam, Morden and Plymouth. Studied Applied physics in Sheffield before joining the police force in Devon and Cornwall.
After eight and half years he resigned to study at the British School of Osteopathy. At the end of the four year course he submitted a dissertation on pelvic mechanics. Paul qualified in 1991 spending 18 months practising osteopathy with his father Don who lectures in osteopathic techniques and spinal mechanics.
He started at Ingledale in March 1993 developing his skills to help the local community, and beyond, with all of their aches and pains including referred pains from internal organs such as stomach, gall bladder and gut.
